CCI Group of Companies Names New Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Peter Blanchard has been named the new Chief Financial Officer for CCI Group of Companies. Peter will be responsible for managing the overall financial system of CCI Group of Companies, corporate strategy and leadership for both the Canadian and US entities.
Peter is Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant. He attended the University of Manitoba and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors), Accounting and Bachelor of Arts, Economics. Peter comes to CCI with over 20 years’ experience as a strategic senior leader leveraging financial and tax knowledge to achieve transformational business results.
Before joining our team, Peter spent the last 16 years with Prairie Merchant Corporation where one of his many responsibilities was leading all aspects of regulatory reporting, tax planning and accounting functions for all entities of the company. He is a very strong collaborator and change agent. He is a roll up the sleeve’s leader and ultimate team player.
Peter is a family man with a great sense of humor and loves to spend his spare time volunteering and keeping active in the Calgary community. He has held various board and committee positions: I Can for Kids, Bolt Supply House Inc, Prostate Combines for Cures, and Rocky View Development Council Board Member.
Peter is looking forward to applying his experience and education to helping grow the CCI Group of Companies’ business and provide guidance for all strategic financial planning.
