Geoterra is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill an open vacancy for the position of Forestry Resource Specialist. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in operational forestry, such as silviculture, forest development, timber cruising and harvesting.

Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a natural resource field is an asset.
- Ideally be registered or able to register with the Forest Professionals of British Columbia (RPF, RFT).
- Positive attitude, highly organized, with a proven ability to provide supervision and mentor junior staff members.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the forest industry.
- Specific experience with forest development activities such as block layout (ground based and cable), timber cruising, ecological data collection and riparian classification.
- Valid BC driver’s license.
- Working knowledge of the BC tenure and appraisal system is an assest.
